The Division of University Communications and Marketing includes the following departments and service areas that provide strategic communications, marketing, and branding to serve all four campuses. From design and media relations to social media strategy, photography, video production, and web services, we help ensure your message is impactful and reaches the right audience.

Manage university news, media relations, and strategic communications to elevate PennWest’s presence, working with leaders to develop strategies that drive engagement and amplify our institutional voice.

Submit a News or Story Idea

Recognizes the achievements of our faculty, staff, students, and alums through print, digital media, and social channels to amplify the success of PennWest. Serves as editor of the university magazine. Manage the enterprise-level social channels and collaborate with stakeholders across each campus to help manage their area’s social media presence.

What makes a good story?

Delivers innovative design, photography, and video solutions that amplify enrollment, enhance student support, and drive advancement initiatives, helping PennWest stand out and engage key audiences. The team also manages all PennWest and Athletics logos and trademarks.

Our team follows a consistent creative process and production timeline to ensure high-quality results. Please allow extra lead time during our busiest periods: February–May and September–December.
