The non-refundable tuition deposit not only saves your place at PennWest, it lets our Academic Coordinators build your first semester schedule and sign up for New Student Orientation. Your schedule is carefully crafted to ensure you will be on track for timely graduation. You will be emailed your schedule by your Academic Coordinator once it is built.
myPennWest is your very own portal to your financial aid, billing, class schedule, housing and more.
The housing contract for Fall typically becomes available in early to mid-November
of the preceding year—keep an eye on your student email for announcements.

Spring housing contracts are also usually released in early to mid-November during
the preceding Fall semester.

To complete your housing application, log into your PennWest portal and submit the $100 non-refundable housing application fee.

The meal plan contract typically opens in the summer before your fall semester and is available to both on-campus and commuter students. You will find the meal plan contract in your myPennWest portal.
Check your PennWest email with information regarding the math and English placement tests. This communication will direct you to a placement test tile in the myPennWest portal. You must complete any required placement test prior to your first semester schedule being created for you. It is important that you complete this step as soon as possible. Your First Course Schedule: All students have their schedules built for them for their first semester. These schedules are built by the Academic Coordinator aligned with your major and follows the degree planning determined by your department. Schedules cannot be built until students have completed all necessary steps, including submission (and review of) transcripts/test scores/etc. Please pay close attention to your @pennwest.edu email account for important information from your Academic Coordinator regarding scheduling.

All deposited student at PennWest have the opportunity to register for New Student Orientation. This program is designed to help all first year and transfer students make the transition to the University a smooth one. Our one-day program will allow you to meet with members of University support services, connect you to your future classmates and schedule your first semester classes.
