Associate in Engineering Technology

Become job-ready on day-one with an associate in Engineering Technology.

Do you think like an engineer, but want to get into the workforce quickly? PennWest’s two-year associate in Engineering Technology teaches you how to apply basic engineering principles and technical skills to support engineers in a wide variety of projects and industries.

This program focuses on hands-on learning, so you are job-ready on day-one. Choose a concentration in Computer Engineering Technology, Electrical Engineering Technology, or Robotics Engineering Technology to fit your career goals and interests.

No matter what your career path, you’ll appreciate learning in small classes where you receive individualized attention from faculty mentors. They help you develop strong time management and critical thinking skills and teach you how to work as a member of a team, applying your knowledge, techniques and skills to solve engineering problems in the workplace.

With your associate’s degree in hand, you can go directly into the workforce, or go on to earn a bachelor’s degree. PennWest’s offers B.S. degrees in Electrical Engineering Technology, as well as in Computer Science and Mechatronics Engineering Technology—all natural extensions to this associate degree program.
