The non-refundable tuition deposit not only saves your place at PennWest, it lets our Success Coaches build your first semester schedule and sign up for New Student Orientation. Your schedule is carefully crafted to ensure you will be on track for timely graduation. You will be emailed your schedule by your Success Coach once it is built.
myPennWest is your very own portal to your financial aid, billing, class schedule, housing and more.
The housing contract is now available for spring 2024 and fall 2024 to new students who have submitted their $100 advanced tuition deposit.
The meal plan contract typically opens in the summer before your fall semester and is available to both on-campus and commuter students. You will find the meal plan contract in your my.PennWest portal.
Check your PennWest email with information regarding the math and English placement tests. This communication will direct you to a placement test tile in the myPennWest portal. You must complete any required placement test prior to your first semester schedule being created for you. It is important that you complete this step as soon as possible. View our Assessment Testing page for more details.
Your First Course Schedule: All students have their schedules built for them for their first semester. These schedules are built by the Success Coach aligned with your major and follows the degree planning determined by your department. Schedules cannot be built until students have completed all necessary steps, including submission (and review of) transcripts/test scores/etc. Be sure to complete your Intake Survey as well to help us better understand your preferences. Please pay close attention to your @pennwest.edu email account for important information from your Success Coach regarding scheduling.
This program is designed to give you timely information to prepare for the Fall semester. Meet fellow classmates, discuss financial aid, academic course scheduling and more.
