Have you fully set up your PennWest account with two-factor authentication?
- You must activate your myPennWest account using your PennWest credentials and set up 2FA to access the portal.
Have you paid your admissions deposit?
- Students who haven’t paid their tuition deposit will not be able to access the housing
portal. After payment, access should be granted within 24–48 hours.
Are you using a VPN?
- The housing portal may be inaccessible from some countries. Try using a Virtual Private
Network (VPN) and select a United States server.
If you've completed all steps and still can't access the portal, contact your campus housing office for help.

Review the Apply for Housing section on the main Housing page to begin your application. There, you’ll also find information about roommate matching, room selection, and more.
Students arriving before Move-In Weekend must submit an Early Arrival Request, available in the housing portal about one month before the semester begins. Requests are reviewed case-by-case and approval is not guaranteed.
Note: Students should not plan to arrive more than 7 days before the semester begins and must arrive during designated check-in hours.
