PennWest Clarion Concert Choir will host a benefit dinner at 4 p.m. Nov. 6 at Belles Lettres Club, 404 West First Street, Oil City. The dinner is being held in memory of former choir member Jason Poor, and proceeds will be donated to Clarion County Coalition for Suicide Prevention.

Concert Choir members will serve dinner and will perform between dinner courses. EVIA Authentic Greek Food will prepare the menu:

Appetizer: Spanakopita (a mixture of fresh spinach and greens, imported Greek feta and fresh herbs baked in a crispy filo dough)

Greek salad: Imported Greek feta, kalamata olives, roasted red peppers, pepperoncini, onion and cucumber. Served with grilled pita bread and Greek dressing.

Entrée (choose one): Pastitsio (Greek pasta layered with a mixture of ground beef and fresh herbs and topped with homemade creamy Bechamel sauce); Dolmathes (grape leaves stuffed with a special blend of ground beef, rice, fresh herbs and spices, served with Greek yogurt); lamb Souvlaki (grilled seasoned lamb cubes on a skewer, served with rice pilaf and grilled pita; or Greek vegetarian casserole.

Dessert: Galaktoboureko (filo with custard and honey)
