Both the A.S. and B.S. in Criminal Justice go beyond vocational training to enhance your understanding of human behavior and sharpen your knowledge of the major functions and operations of the criminal justice system.
Energetic faculty with extensive career experience will guide you through the fundamentals of law enforcement, courts and corrections. At the same time, they will help you hone your critical thinking as well as oral and written communications skills and gain insight into the value of statistics, research and ethics.
In the bachelor's program, you’ll have the opportunity to narrow your focus through coursework and connect with industry professionals through networking events, job shadowing, internship and job fairs and organizational visits.

How You'll Learn
The A.S. and B.S. in Criminal Justice (no concentration) are offered In-Person, Blended, and Online. The Forensic Investigation and Cyber Forensics concentration is offered In-Person at the California campus. An in-person degree emphasizes traditional in-person courses at one or more of our locations. A blended degree combines traditional in-person courses with flexible, online educational experiences. An online degree is offered 100% online.

Ryan Spencer
Spencer joined the Department of Veterans Affairs’ Academic Division, where he is a special agent/law enforcement specialist. Charged with instructing cadets how to interact with veterans, Spencer started by updating the courses with veterans’ issues in mind.
