Human resource management is a growing field, with specialized positions within the category. You may find work as a compensation benefits specialist or manager, a labor relations manager, a training and development specialist, manager, or human resource management generalist.  

The U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics says human resource managers are employed in nearly every industry and earned a median annual salary of $130,000 in May 2022. Most employees in these positions have a combination of a bachelor’s degree and a number of years of experience in the field.
