PennWest University is proud to honor those who have served our country through the Hometown Heroes Military Banner Program. This unique opportunity allows you to recognize a veteran or active-duty service member while supporting military-affiliated students facing unexpected financial hardship.

For a contribution of $150, a personalized banner honoring your hero will be displayed annually for five years on the PennWest campus of your choice: California, Clarion, or Edinboro. Banners will be displayed each year from September through November. At the end of the five-year period, participants will have the opportunity to renew their banner with an additional contribution.

Proceeds from the program support short-term emergency aid funds for military-affiliated students, helping them overcome unforeseen challenges and continue pursuing their education.

The deadline to participate this year is July 31 to allow time for banner production and installation before the fall display period.
