Unhealthy romantic relationships can take a toll on self-esteem and lead to a decline in physical and mental wellbeing. It’s important to recognize common red flags.
As part of PennWest’s commitment to student wellness, development and success, Student Health Services will present a discussion on Toxic Love from 6-8 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 15, in Frank G. Pogue Student Center's Scot Cinema. The event is open to the public.
Community experts from the Crime Victim Center, Safe Journey and SafeNet will address warning signs of emotional and psychological abuse in romantic relationships, best practices for responding to someone in an unhealthy relationship and resources available on and off campus.
