Edinboro writing center reopens in Baron-Forness Library
Open to all students, staff and faculty for assistance with writing
With the reopening of Baron-Forness Library this month, Edinboro’s Writing Center is now open in its new home – the second floor of the library.
The Edinboro Writing Center, located in room 240, is open to all students, staff and faculty for assistance with writing for a variety of courses and purposes. Students are welcome to attend in-person sessions or via Zoom. Appointments can be made using the Starfish platform.
Representatives provide guidance as collaborators in the writing process and will teach clients strategies for composing clear writing in all academic areas, especially in developing, revising and editing papers.
With the purpose of helping students and faculty become independent writers, the Writing Center associates do not simply correct errors or rewrite work. Instead, representatives teach critical strategies that writers can use to compose effective papers.
