The Joanne W. Haskell Scholars Endowment for Study Abroad Selection Committee is accepting applications for summer and fall 2024 travel abroad. The study abroad experience may be as short as a few weeks or as long as a full academic year. It is intended for academic credit, to supplement existing research projects, or for academic-related creative and civic activities. Awards may not exceed $1,500. Only PennWest Clarion students are eligible. Submission deadline is March 15. Access the scholarship application through your MyPennWest portal with your login credentials, click on the Manage PennWest Scholarships tile, and then in Search Scholarships, enter the Joanne W Haskell Scholarship Endowment. Applications are now being accepted for the Clarion APSCUF Scholarship ($500) to be awarded to four PennWest Clarion students. Any student wishing to apply must be currently enrolled at PennWest Clarion with a minimum of 3.2 QPA following completion of the fall 2023 semester. Eligibility, instructions and application can be downloaded at apscuf.org/universities/clarion. Deadline for submission is March 22. Award categories are: Child/spouse/parent/domestic partner of a Clarion APSCUF member; senior in fall 2024; junior in fall 2024; freshman or sophomore in fall 2024. Students will be considered for all categories in which they fit. Only one scholarship will be awarded to any student.
