Associate Professor of Spanish in the Department of English, Philosophy & Modern Languages; Member of the Faculty Senate; Advisor for various language programs such as Arabic BA, Spanish minor and Spanish Certificate; Received BA from  Beijing University, MA from Univ of Wisconsin – Madison, and PhD from Princeton University; Speaks and teaches Chinese, English and Spanish; Specializing in early modern Spanish literature and culture with interest expanding in related fields such as Comparative Literature, Renaissance and Early Modern Studies, Classical Theater, Pop Culture and more; Published various articles in peer-reviewed scholarly journals and presented research papers at numerous regional, national, and international conferences.
