About Me

Dr. Stephanie Williams is an Associate Professor in the Department of Educational Leadership and School Psychology at Pennsylvania Western University. Formerly she was Director of Clinical Experiences and Partnerships at PennWest Edinboro.  Formerly, she served as an adjunct faculty member and has recently returned to a full-time teaching position.  Dr. Williams primarily works with doctoral students, principal interns, and student teachers.  Before the PennWest faculty position, Stephanie spent 35+ years as a Millcreek Township School District teacher, department chair, principal, and Human Resource Director at the Northwest Tri-County Intermediate Unit.  Stephanie currently serves in a variety of leadership positions in the PennWest organization and is a member of the Faculty Senate, APSCUF Executive Committee, and Chair of the department Policy Committee. Stephanie also served on the UWCC for PennWest Edinboro and Governor’s Institute Steering Committee and faculty member for the Pennsylvania Department of Education. Stephanie is involved in the local community as past president of the Rotary of Erie, and a current member of the Education Committee.  She currently serves as the Membership Chair and Steering Committee member for the Erie Women’s Fund.  Stephanie was the past Education Chair for the Erie Women’s Fund and currently serves as a committee member. Stephanie is a leader in her profession and has presented at numerous local, state, national, and international meetings, and conferences. Stephanie also has several published documents, including articles, and a book chapter, and is co-editor of an anthology.  Lastly, Stephanie’s research is based on servant leadership and school administrator longevity.
