About Me
Robert Skwarecki, Ph.D., CCC-SLP is a full Professor and licensed/certified Speech-Language Pathologist teaching both undergraduate and graduate courses in the Communication Sciences and Disorders Department at Pennsylvania Western University. A recipient of the Excellence in Teaching Award, he has also served as Director of the Speech & Hearing Clinic and Chair of the Institutional Review Board. Dr. Skwarecki has over 30 years of teaching, supervisory, clinical, and research experience in a wide variety of medical and educational settings working with individuals of all ages and diverse impairments. Clinical settings have included hospitals, skilled nursing facilities, home care, outpatient clinics, and early intervention programs. He is a member of ASHA, PSHA, and SWPSHA and his interests include research methods, child and adult language disorders, voice disorders, AAC, dysphagia, speech science, and anatomy & physiology.
