About Me
Dr. Reuter was a Health and Physical Education student at Gettysburg College. He earned his doctorate in exercise physiology from Auburn University, and his master's, with an emphasis in athletic training, from Old Dominion University.
He is a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist, with distinction, from the National Strength and Conditioning Association. He is also holds an athletic training certification from the National Athletic Trainers Association.
Dr. Reuter edited and co-authored a chapter in the NSCA's Developing Endurance (Sport Performance), 1st and 2nd editions, as well as coauthored chapters in the NSCA's Essentials of Strength and Conditioning and the NSCA’s Essentials of Personal Training. He has presented at a number of NSCA conferences and symposiums and was awarded the National Strength and Conditioning Association 2020 Sports Medicine/Rehabilitation Specialist of the Year.
Ben serves as an associate editor-in-chief, as well as podcast editor and sports medicine and rehabilitation column editor for the Strength and Conditioning Journal.
