About Me
Dr. Quinn has been at the Edinboro campus for over 30 years, teaching mathematics and serving as Chair of the Mathematics and Computer Science Department (2014-2022) and Assistant Chair (1999-2014). She has been a frequent speaker at state and national mathematics conferences for the MAA (Mathematics Association of America) and the NCTM (National Council of Teachers of Mathematics). Her publications in NCTM’s Mathematics Teacher and MAA’s College Mathematics Journal cover topics such as statistics, graph theory, technology, geogebra, recreational math, math of finance, and C++ programming apps. Her latest work on the mathematics of the Game of SET will be a chapter in an upcoming book published by the AMS (American Mathematical Society). In addition to teaching Quantitative Reasoning, Statistics, Discrete Math, Math of Finance, and Math for Teachers (in person and online), she enjoys planning campus events, such as the annual Pi Day that attracts hundreds of local high school students every year.
