Laura Giachetti

Laura Giachetti is an Associate Professor and Director of Federal and State Grant Programs at Pennsylvania Western University, California Campus, where she has dedicated more than two decades to advancing student success. Throughout her career, she has led initiatives that promote student retention, persistence, academic achievement, and graduation, with a strong commitment to expanding opportunities for first-generation, low-income, and underrepresented students.

Laura has secured and managed more than $20 million in competitive grant funding and has served as the lead author and principal investigator for numerous federal and state grants. Her work focuses on developing innovative, data-informed programs that align with university priorities and U.S. Department of Education requirements. She brings expertise in grant administration, strategic planning, budget management, personnel leadership, program assessment, and cross-campus collaboration, helping to build sustainable programs that create meaningful and lasting impacts on student success.
