Colby Hunsberger, DNP, RN, CNEcl

Dr. Colby Hunsberger is an Assistant Professor in the School of Nursing for the Associate of Science in Nursing Program at Pennsylvania Western University on the Clarion Campus. He holds a certification in teaching from the National League of Nursing as a Certified Academic Clinical Nurse Educator. He has experience in Long-Term Care Nursing, Medical Surgical Nursing, Oncology Nursing, and Quality Control. He currently works part time as a Medical Surgical Nurse at a local hospital. Dr. Hunsberger was appointed by Governor Tom Wolfe in 2022 and again by Governor Josh Shapiro in 2023 to the Pennsylvania State Board of Nursing.
