About Me
Dr. Silvia Braidic is a Professor and serves as the Educational Leadership Programs Coordinator for the Superintendent’s Letter of Eligibility Certification and Doctor of Education in Educational Administration and Leadership (EdD) Program in the College of Education at Pennsylvania Western University. Previously she served as an Assistant Professor and Coordinator of Graduate and Undergraduate Secondary Education at Duquesne University.
In addition to her work at the university level, Silvia also serves as a mentor in the Online Teaching Certificate Program for the Online Learning Consortium (OLC) and trained to serve as a reviewer and master reviewer for Quality Matters in various capacities.
She has experience as a principal, assistant principal and teacher in the Mt. Lebanon School District in Pennsylvania. Silvia has presented at various local, state and national conferences. Her research interests include leadership, teaching and learning in the online learning environment.
She holds a Doctorate of Education in Administrative and Policy Studies – Educational Administration from the University of Pittsburgh, K-12 Principal Certification Program from Carnegie Mellon University’s Administrative and Policy Studies, Master’s Degree in Elementary Education and Bachelor’s Degree in Secondary Mathematics Education from Duquesne University.
