Clarion International Association will celebrate unique heritage and diverse cultures during the 18th Annual Cultural Night at 5 p.m. April 11 in the multipurpose room of PennWest Clarion’s Gemmell Student Center.
Cultural Night is free and open to the public and is appropriate for all ages. It features performances by the Allegany River Native Indian Dancers, PennWest Clarion Choir and Clarion Hip Hop Team, and a student presentation about “Life in Mongolia.”
Guests can enjoy a dinner of international cuisine and will receive spinning rattle drums and blow horns to add to the festive atmosphere.
“Celebrating different cultures is not just about embracing diversity; it's about discovering the beauty in our shared humanity, where every tradition, story, practice and perspective brings us all closer together and keeps us interconnected,” said Dr. Natasha Dias, PennWest biology professor and CINTA advisor.
The evening includes fun and games of 50/50 raffles.
