About Me
Natalie Armstrong, D.Ed., CCC-SLP is an Assistant Professor in the Communication Sciences and Disorders Department at PennWest Clarion. Dr. Armstrong completed her B.S. in Hearing, Speech, and Language Sciences at Ohio University, her M.S. degree in Speech-Language Pathology at Clarion University of Pennsylvania, and her D.Ed. in Leadership Studies at Indiana University of Pennsylvania. Dr. Armstrong began her career as a speech–language pathologist in skilled nursing facilities with a focus on dysphagia and cognitive-linguistic therapy.
Since joining the faculty at PennWest, Dr. Armstrong has served the profession of speech-language pathology by engaging in research with a focus on interprofessional education/practice and presenting at state conferences.
Dr. Armstrong’s areas of interest are clinical supervision, IPE/IPP, adult swallowing disorders, and adult neurogenic disorders.
