Jacqueline Knaust, PhD

Dr. Jacqueline Knaust serves as associate provost and interim dean of the College of Science, Technology and Business. Before her appointment, she served as interim associate provost and as an associate professor in the Department of Chemistry, Mathematics and Physics.

Knaust held several faculty leadership roles at Clarion, including assistant department chair and chair of the Faculty Senate during the two years leading up to university integration. She also served as co-chair of the inaugural PennWest Faculty Senate.

In addition to her academic leadership, Knaust served as faculty mentor for the Clarion women’s volleyball team and was recognized with the 2019 Faculty of the Year award, selected by the Student-Athlete Advisory Committee representing all student-athletes.
