Nicole Evanick

Dr. Nicole Evanick is an Associate Professor in the Department of Nursing and Health Professions. Currently, Dr. Evanick serves as the Department Chair and Chief Nurse Administrator and formerly held the title lead faculty and Global Online Coordinator for the Master’s in the Science of Nursing Programs at PennWest California.  She has over 15 years of teaching experience in higher education. Prior to teaching full time, she held various leadership and management positions in large medical centers within the Pittsburgh Area. Dr. Evanick also spent time developing clinical teaching software that was deployed across the country to various nursing, medical and pharmacy schools with robotic and software engineers. Dr. Evanick serves as a board member of the Southwestern Organization of Nurse Leaders and is active in many professional organizations. Nicole has had the opportunity to present her work in online education at various local and national conferences and is a published author in her field. Dr. Evanick received her Doctorate of the Practice of Nursing at Chatham University, her Masters in the Science of Nursing at Waynesburg University, her Bachelors in the Science of Nursing at Carlow University.
