Paul Allison, MBA

Paul Allison serves as chief information officer and senior associate vice president for Facilities Management. He provides strategic leadership for university-wide information technology services and facilities operations across PennWest’s campuses, working with colleagues to align technology, infrastructure and facilities planning with institutional priorities.

Since joining PennWest in 2019, Allison has led the integration of technology services following the creation of the university, bringing together three separate IT units into one Information Technology Services team and advancing efforts that support PennWest’s digital transformation.

Before coming to PennWest, Allison held senior technology leadership roles in higher education and the private sector, including positions with CampusWorks, Metropolitan State University of Denver, ANSYS, and Duquesne University. Throughout his career, he has focused on aligning technology strategy, governance and infrastructure with institutional goals to support student success and effective operations.
