Terri Albertson

Terri Albertson serves as the Vice President for Finance and Administration and Chief Financial Officer at PennWest University, where she provides strategic leadership for the institution’s financial, operational, and administrative functions. She oversees Fiscal Affairs including Accounting, Financial Planning and Analysis, and Student Accounts as well as Human Resources, Information Technology Services, and Facilities Management, encompassing Facilities, Safety and Risk Management, and General Services.

Albertson brings more than 20 years of leadership experience in higher education finance, administration and nonprofit accounting. Before entering higher education administration, Albertson served as an audit partner and practice leader with national accounting firms, advising higher education institutions and nonprofit organizations on financial reporting, regulatory compliance and internal controls. 

A collaborative and transparent leader, Albertson is committed to fostering shared understanding and engagement across the university community. She believes that meaningful and lasting financial progress in higher education depends on building trust, communicating openly, and helping stakeholders understand not only what decisions are being made, but why they are necessary. Guided by a deep commitment to student success, regional impact, and innovation, she works closely with faculty, staff, and university leadership to support PennWest’s mission and strategic future.
