The MBA component prepares graduates to:

The MSN component prepares graduates to:

1. Gain insight in to applying strategic decision making to questions of health policy, the health care industry, and health care delivery.
2. Apply modern quantitative tools, database management skills, and information systems to improve decision making and program evaluation.
3. Appreciate the legal, ethical and regulatory framework in which various entities in the health care industry operate and understand how sound management practices rely upon this framework.
4. Understand the unique aspects of finance, accounting and other business disciplines as they apply to the health care industry and appreciate similarities and differences between operations in the for-profit and not-for-profit sectors.
